Is fishing the weir allowed at saxon mill as I thought it is not to be done contary to the photo of the pike.
ReplyDeleteFishing off the weir wall is at the pub's discretion, I believe. The picture should be taken down I think now you've pointed that fact out.

Yeah its a shame the wear is not a permanent peg as i know it holds a good head of fish. Downstream of the weir

It is a good peg, shame it's not on the club book though. The little island I'd prefer to it, but it's out of bounds with signs on the bank to that effect. That would give access to a lot of nice water...
ReplyDeleteI wonder what wading upstream into the weir spillway might achieve from the club bank 1st peg further down though? That would give access to the big area of slack water below the mill wall...
